Make it stand out.

I became a celebrant as I wanted to be around people when they are at their happiest and there is nothing more important to me than family.  I have three beautiful young adult women in my life of whom I am immensely proud.

Being a celebrant is ‘Career 3’ for me and what I deliver draws strongly from my earlier careers (firstly as a long term year public servant that included military service, diplomatic service and work in operational agencies, as well as several roles across the private sector in Australia and abroad). I’ve always worked alongside others and my careers have all had a focus on people.

I love working collaboratively – what we include is completely up to you. And, fully from you.

You will be at the heart of your ceremony. I will ensure you are well prepared in the lead up so there are no tight deadlines to meet. It’s all about being calm.

I understand the importance of having a wedding ceremony that truly reflects your personalities and values. With this in mind, I will take the time to get to know you as a couple, and will craft a ceremony that weaves in your personal anecdotes, favourite readings, and any rituals you wish to include.

It will have a good blend of laughter and emotion sprinkled throughout. Because weddings have to be fun too!

Outside of weddings, I’m about ensuring people are happy, safe and able to be their authentic selves in all aspects of their lives. Whether this refers to my children, family, friends, work colleagues, couples, neighbours or member of the public.

As a member of the LGBTIQ+ community myself, inclusion and diversity are a big part of my ethics and values. I will marry anyone who is in love and wishes to celebrate that love.

I am looking forward to meeting amazing couples, hearing your stories and creating a wonderful experience and a lasting memory for you and your guests.
